An ode to my wife
By Jorden Christensen (aka J.C. Ellis)
There is a woman in a distant land,
Far in the forests of Acadia,
Who possesseth both beauty and wisdom.
The locks of her hair are fabulous flames
And her eyes glow with a glorious green.
Arithmetic and algebra are hers.
All manner of swimming well she doth know.
Piety and purity are her ways.
Music is a dear delight to her heart;
She often sings with a gleeful passion.
She is a woman worth far more than gold.
She is the woman that I e’er do hold.
