Oh slumber, oh slumber
to elude mind’s wonder
to be free from mind’s chains
and escape from day’s banes
to leave reality
and sty to fantasy
Oh the bliss of slumber
‘tis jovial wonder!
Sustenance for the mind
and rest for flesh all find
When to the land of dreams
they climb
